#UGDECIDES: ACCRA HIGH COURT PLACES INJUNCTION ON SRC TRANSITION PROCESSES .

The Accra High Court has placed an injunction on the swearing in of any candidate as the SRC President of the University of Ghana. According to the writ cited, The Accra High Court has placed an injunction on a possible swearing in ceremony of a new SRC President. This was granted as a relief sought by the SRC President Elect, Prince Asumadu.

This comes after the SRC Judicial Board in its contempt ruling added that, following the cancellation of the Sarbah and Akuafo Hall Elections, Samuel Amos Ofosu should be sworn in as SRC President of the University of Ghana. According to Prince Asumadu, this was an attempt by the SRC President Kwame Amo Ntow Fianko, The SRC Chief Justice Regina Apaloo, The Dean of Student Prof. Godfred Alufar Bopkin and the University management to rob him of his victory and impose their favored candidate on the student body.
